Clark College and the Clark College Music Department will host the seventh annual Clark College Fall Choral Festival starting at 8 a.m. in Gaiser Hall on Clark’s main campus, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver. Eighteen chamber and concert choirs from middle and high schools in Clark County, Cowlitz County and other parts of Washington and Oregon will participate in the festival. Choirs will begin performing at 8 a.m. with choral clinics offered by Dr. Samuel Barber of Portland Community College, Dr. Nicole Lamartine of Central Washington University, Dr. Anne Lyman of Tacoma Community College, Dr. Matthew Myers of WSU and Dr. Danielle Warner of George Fox University.
The Clark College Treble Ensemble and Concert Choir, directed by Dr. Jacob Funk and accompanied by Professor Melissa Terrall, will perform at noon. Admission is $5 for the day per person. Clark College students and children under 12 accompanied by an adult are admitted free of charge.
Gaiser Student Center is located on the northwest corner of the main campus on Fort Vancouver Way, between McLoughlin Blvd. and Fourth Plain Blvd. Please enter through the North or South entrance of Gaiser Hall Student Center.
