Friends of Fort Vancouver National Historic Site & the National Park Service will host: “Columbia River Trade: The Ties that Bind since Time Immemorial –Salmon traditions and all that surrounds it: the trades, travel to and from places along the Columbia River & fishing techniques.” From 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. July 30.
Presented by Brigette McConville of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. McConville is a leader in commercial fishing, an educator, and an artist in traditional cultural ways of beading, weaving and basketry.
