Greeting Card Calligraphy Class at Vancouver Art Space

Vancouver Art Space, located inside Vancouver Mall at 8700 N.E. Vancouver Mall Drive, Suite 283, is offering a beginner-friendly Greeting Card Calligraphy Class taught by instructor Carolyn Macpherson. The class, which costs $75 per person, will be held from noon to 2 p.m. July 30. Register through EventBrite or call 360-787-8772.

Students will learn simple calligraphy to enhance greeting cards or party announcements. Macpherson will teach students practical and creative ways to dress up party announcement projects. Students will learn to find the right tools for the job, how to use mixed media techniques and practice drills for proficiency. Those who are working on their own projects are welcome to bring them to class. This class includes a supply kit to use and take home.
