Shangri-La Farm will host its annual end-of-summer “Hootenanny” from 5 to 9 p.m. Sept. 30. This year, the event will be a fundraiser to benefit the Maui Strong Fund. This fund provides financial resources to support the immediate and long-term recovery needs for the people and places affected by the Maui wildfires. Hootenanny attendees will enjoy a barbecue dinner, homemade pie and live music by Kista Roberts and Whiskey Blue Band. Guests are also encouraged to bring $5 and $20 bills to play Chicken Poop Bingo. Guests are encouraged to wear Western or Hawaiian attire. Tickets are $40 per person, payable in advance or at the door. To RSVP, text or call 360-281-8720 or email PikeAdvertising@comcast.net. Attendees should park at Grove Field Airport, 632 N.E. 267th Ave., Camas. From the airport, follow the trail a quarter-mile through the woods to Shangri-La Farm or ride on the free Sunflower Mobile shuttle to the farm.
