“Hope for Pollinators” exhibit at Art at the CAVE

May 18 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

free

Art at the Cave welcomes a month-long exhibit, “Hope for Pollinators,” featuring works by Sharon Agnor, Cindy Geffel and Kathy Willson. Native bees are losing habitat nesting sites and the Monarch butterfly is expected to be listed as endangered later this year. This exhibit celebrates the creatures whose tiny footprint makes a big difference and urges the public to consider practices that avoid pesticide use and other damaging methods of land management. The opening reception is 4 to 8 p.m. May 3. An artist talk will be given at 1 p.m. May 18. All events are free and open to the public.
