Journey Theater presents “Matilda: The Musical”

Journey Theater presents “Matilda: The Musical,” based on the book “Matilda” by Roald Dahl, with performances from Aug. 4 to 12 at the Garver Theater, 1500 N.E. Garfield St., Camas. The musical from the Royal Shakespeare Company revels in the anarchy of childhood, the power of imagination and the story of a girl who dreams of a better life. Tickets are on sale at journeytheater.org or by calling 360-750-8550. Adult tickets are $25. Youth and senior tickets are $20. Tickets for all performances are $2 more at the door. Performances are 7 p.m. Aug. 4, 5, 10 and 11 and at 2 p.m. Aug. 5 and 12. The 2 p.m. Aug. 5 performance includes ASL interpretation.
