“Learn to Amigurumi Crochet” Workshop at Kindred Homestead Supply

Hook and Needle, a women-owned independent yarn shop, will offer a “Learn to Crochet an Amigurumi Lemon” workshop from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. July 22 at Kindred Homestead Supply, 606 Main St., Vancouver. Students will learn how to make a magic ring, crochet in the round, increase, decrease, place safety eyes and embroider a smile on the lemon. Students should bring 3.0 mm or 3.5 mm crochet hook with them to class. Yarn, Poly-Fil stuffing, safety eyes, stitch markers and embroidery thread will be provided. The class is best suited for beginners with some crochet experience; students should be comfortable making single crochets. The class is $60 per person.
