Hook and Needle, a women-owned independent yarn shop, will offer a “Learn to Crochet” workshop from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 6 at Kindred Homestead Supply, 606 Main St., Vancouver. Students will learn the basics of crochet, including how to make a slip knot, chain, single crochet and how to fasten off. Students will make face scrubbies from a provided pattern. All materials are included in the class fee. Each student will receive a skein of 100% recycled cotton yarn and one Soft Touch Clover crochet hook.
