Learn to Play Bridge

Learn to play bridge on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Vancouver Bridge Club, 6503H East Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver. The cost is $50 for all eight lessons or $10 per lesson. Classes include discussion and play. Call Connie Sayler with questions at 971-678-3863. The schedule is as follows:

• Jan. 3 – Introduction
• Jan. 10 – Opening no trump and responses
• Jan. 17 – Opening one of a suit, responses and rebids
• Jan. 24 – Opening two or three in a suit
• Jan. 31 – Overcalls and competing
• Feb. 7 – Opening leads and carding
• Feb. 28 – Doubles and convention card
• March 7 – Play of the hand
