Master Gardeners offer Introduction to Beekeeping Series

Master Gardener Angelina Lai will teach a four-night introductory series into the world of beekeeping as part of the WSU Clark County Extension Master Gardener Program. Zoom classes are 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. March 6, 13, 20 and 27. Over these four Monday evenings, attendees will learn honeybee biology and the roles of the honeybees, the equipment needed for beekeeping, how to confidently inspect a hive, different hive management practices, honeybee diseases and pests and how to manage them.
