Metropolitan Performing Arts presents “1940s Radio Christmas Carol”

Metropolitan Performing Arts presents the musical “1940s Radio Christmas Carol,” Dec. 1-17, at 6403 E. Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver. Performances are 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. on Sundays. Family Day with discounted tickets is 2 p.m. Dec. 3. Pride Night is 7:30 p.m. Dec. 9. Meet Santa Day is 2 p.m. Dec. 17. The musical opens on Christmas Eve, in a small radio station in Newark, New Jersey, where the Feddington Players put on their radio adaptation of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.” The veteran actor is all ego, performers miss their cues, the power goes out and mayhem and hijinks ensue.
