NatureScaping: Northwest Native Garden Plants

NatureScaping Wildlife Botanical Gardens will host a presentation “Northwest Native Garden Plants and the Amazing Insects They Attract” from 10 a.m. to noon March 16 at the CASEE Center, Bldg. B, Room 205, 11104 N.E. 149th St., Brush Prairie.

Co-author of Gardening in the Pacific Northwest: The Complete Homeowner’s Guide and Master Melittologist Apprentice, Amy Campion will discuss how gardens can be hotspots of biodiversity. The presentation will explore some of the best native plants to make one’s garden a wildlife-friendly space, as well as covering the various insects that these plants support.

NatureScaping classes are free for members ($25 per year; $15 for seniors) or $15 per class for nonmembers. Register at info@naturescaping.org or marlene52ns@gmail.com or call 360-737-1160.
