Online Warbler Workshop

TreeSong Nature Awareness and Retreat Center will host an online warbler workshop from 6 to 7:30 p.m. April 2.

Longtime birder and teacher Laura Whittemore will lead this virtual class on warblers. Each spring, millions of warblers migrate to North America from Central and South America to breed, giving us little time each year to see and enjoy them, much less remember what each species looks and sounds like. Attendees will learn about the warblers of the Pacific Northwest, their natural history, how to identify them by sight and sound, where to find them, and how you might attract them to your own yard.
