Vancouver Art Space will host a paper-making class from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 24 at its studio on the second floor at Vancouver Mall. Participants will learn various techniques to create their own, custom-made paper that reflects their personal style. Students will make paper from scratch using more than one color of pulp for a marbled, layered effect. Each person can make up to 10 pieces of paper. Techniques include double-sided paper, tie dyed paper, making paper with cookie cutters and two-toned paper. The class is $40 per person and includes all materials.
