Pastel Fundamentals Course

Art Zone will offer a four-week Pastel Fundamentals Course for students ages 18 and older from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesdays from Jan. 8 to Jan. 29 at 6923 N.W. Friberg-Strunk St., Suite 230, Camas. Students will learn how to use soft chalk pastels to create loose and colorful paintings. The focus will be on tonal value, composition and representational techniques. Required supplies include a set of 12 soft chalk pastels, 9×12 sanded paper and a 9×12 drawing pad.
