Portland Art Museum presents “A Conversation with Guillermo del Toro”

The Portland Art Museum has announced that Academy Award-winning director Guillermo del Toro will take part in a public conversation at the museum from 3 to 4 p.m. on June 23 in conjunction with Guillermo del Toro: Crafting Pinocchio. Organized by The Museum of Modern Art, Guillermo del Toro: Crafting Pinocchio invites audiences to explore the extraordinary artistry, creativity, and storytelling behind the Netflix film Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, the masterpiece of stop-motion animation from that recently won del Toro and co-director Mark Gustafson the 2023 Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. Guillermo del Toro: Crafting Pinocchio is a celebration and exploration of the inventiveness, passion, and artistic cooperation that goes into making a cinematic vision come to life.
