Prairie High School presents “Urinetown: The Musical.” Winner of three Tony Awards, this satirical take on modern times tells the story of a Gotham-like city where a water shortage has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. This essential human function is now regulated by a single, malevolent company that profits by charging admission to one of humanity’s greatest needs. Shows are 7 p.m. Nov. 10, 11, 17 and 18 with matinee performances at 1 p.m. Nov. 11 and 18. The 1 p.m. Nov. 18 show will offer American Sign Language interpretation. The cost is $6 for students, $13 for adults and $10 for honored citizens. Purchase tickets online at vancoevents.com/us/events/landing/36536.
