Get started on holiday shopping at the Holiday Food and Gift Marketplace in Overlook Park from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring 40 local vendors. See festive trees decorated as part of the Circle of Trees Decorating Contest. Visit Santa from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Old Liberty Theater, 115 N. Main Ave., Ridgefield; take your own pictures with smartphones and cameras. See holiday entertainment from school bands and choirs on the main stage at Overlook Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cap it off with the tree lighting ceremony at 4:30 p.m. in Overlook Park with a performance from DanceFusion NW.
Have breakfast with Santa at the Ridgefield Administrative and Civic Center, 510 Pioneer St, Ridgefield, from 9 to 11 a.m. Shop at the Ridgefield Art Association’s Chickadee Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the gym, featuring handmade, original art and crafts by local artists; kids’ crafts will be offered from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Or join the Ugly Christmas Sweater 5K-10K run with a 9 a.m. start in downtown Ridgefield; register online here.
