The works of artist and poet Bob Sunshine is on display at Szechuan Brothers Chinese Restaurant, 13503 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd., Suite B5, during the months of July and August. Sunshine has enlarged his miniature black-and-white paintings to an 11″ x 17″ format. The August show will feature 16″ x 20″ and 20″ x 30″ sizes. Sunshine re-works the enlargement with white and black acrylic ink, adding additional images that are not in the original mini-painting. Then he applies watercolors to finish the painting. Both the original and the enlarged re-work are sold as a set.
Restaurant hours are 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Mondays and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays.
