Silent Auction Fundraiser for Annual Rose Show

The May meeting of the Fort Vancouver Rose Society will feature a silent auction, an ice cream social and pruning tool sharpening. The auction is a fundraiser for the society’s annual rose show on June 29. The ice cream social begins promptly at 7 p.m. May 2 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 426 E. Fourth Plain Blvd., Vancouver. Auction items include one-of-a-kind jewelry art, gift baskets, yard art, crystal serving dishes, hand-made wood boxes, rose plants and locally made cinnamon rolls.
