Slide Ride for Kids at Portland’s Creston Park

Portland clowns Olive and Dingo will host a Slide Ride for kids from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 29. Children should meet at Creston Park, 4454 S.E. Powell Blvd., Portland, at the playground near the Francis Street entrance. Olive and Dingo will be there with tall bicycles. Children should bring helmets, water and a snack. Attendees will sing a song then ride bikes on a paved, quarter-mile loop through the park, with breaks to go to the playground and slide.  Balloons and popsicles will be provided. The event is free but donations are welcome.
