The Historic Trust will host a free public lecture, “They Want Our Rhythm, but Not Our Blues: African American Innovation Through Pop Culture,” by LaToya Brackett, associate professor of African American studies at the University of Puget Sound and member of the leadership team for the Race and Pedagogy Institute.
