45th Parallel Universe and the Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education present a concert event celebrating the musical genius of Harley Gaber at 2 p.m. on Jan. 22. Jazz, Kurt Weill and Gaber’s own minimalist classic “The Winds Rise in the North,” form the three chapters of this performance in honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, with accompanying visuals from Gaber’s monumental work “Die Plage,” currently on view at OJMCHE. This performance is generously funded by the Herbert and Ella Ostroff Endowment Fund. Tickets are $15 at ojmche.org/events/harley-gaber-three-musical-chapters/.
