Touch of Class Chorale, a community choir founded in the 1970s and celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, will present three concerts entitled “I Am in Need of Music,” featuring choral renditions of songs including “All Ye Who Music Love,” “The Music of the Night,” “If Music Be the Food of Love,” “Sing Gently,” “A Gaelic Blessing,” “Didn’t My Lord Deliver Daniel?” “Shenandoah” and “How Can I Keep from Singing?” among many others.
Concerts are 7 p.m. April 29 at Unitarian Universalist Church of Vancouver, 4505 E. 18th St, Vancouver; 7 p.m. May 5 at East Woods Presbyterian Church, 16210 N.E. 20th St., Vancouver; and 2 p.m. May 6 at Mill Plain Methodist Church, 15804 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for children ages 6-16 and free for children under 6. A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Southwest Washington Equity Coalition (April 29), Family Promise (May 5) and Reading Explorers (May 6).
