Vancouver Art Space Offers Four-Week Beginning Drawing Course

Vancouver Art Space will host a four week Beginning Drawing Course from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 7, 14, 21 and 28 at 8700 N.E. Vancouver Mall Drive, Suite 283, located upstairs inside Vancouver Mall. Instructor Nathun Finkhouse will teach students everything from how to hold a pencil to how to add realistic shading and textures to turn basic sketches into works of art. Students are encouraged to bring ideas, images and photos to draw. The class is best suited for students ages 18 and up. Suggested supplies include a pencil set with lights, mediums and darks, erasers (drawing and kneaded), three kinds of blending stumps, pencil sharpener, sketchbook and drawing pad and roll of tracing paper.
