Vancouver Community Concert Band at Holley Park

The Vancouver Community Concert Band will play in LaCenter at Holley Park, 1000 E. 4th St., from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 9. The all-volunteer group, directed by Erin Hanson, is performing in support of Columbia Play Project whose goal is to build a children’s museum in Vancouver. The band will play stirring marches, movie and TV songs, children’s tunes and light classical. The event is free.
