The Vancouver Peace and Justice Fair showcases local nonprofit agencies, churches and performers from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 10 in Esther Short Park. The event highlights local groups working on causes from hunger and homelessness to BIPOC, climate change and animal welfare. Costumed reenactors depicting Ruth Bader Ginsberg and Harriet Tubman will stroll through the park. Local electric-car owners will be available for chatting about how zero-emission vehicles work for them. Performances can be seen on the main stage all day. Activities will also be available for children.
