The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s next concert is 7 p.m. Nov. 4 and 3 p.m. Nov. 5 with guest conductor Sarah Ioannides and award-winning violinist Philippe Quint performing the theme from “The Red Violin.” The program at Skyview Concert Hall, 1300 N.W. 139th St. in the Salmon Creek area of Vancouver, also includes Ottorino Respighi’s timeless masterwork “Pines of Rome” alongside beloved works by Vaughan Williams, Ravel and Debussy. One hour prior to the program’s start on both performance days, a pre-concert talk on the history of the works on the program will be held in Skyview Concert Hall for all ticket holders. The symphony will continue to offer the option of viewing the program live from home. Tickets are $42 to $55 at vancouversymphony.org.
