Vancouver Women’s Connection hosts Fall Guest Night and Fundraiser

The Vancouver Women’s Connection will host its Fall Guest Night and Fundraiser at 6 p.m. on Nov. 16 at Cascadia Technical Academy Culinary School, 12200 N.E. 28th St., Vancouver. The event honors Gold Star families, veterans and their families. Speakers include John Lemkuhl of Payette, Idaho, who will offer a presentation about his experiences as a veteran in the Army and at the White House, and Jane Hughes of Lynwood, Wash., who will give her Gold Star testimony and share how we must guard the freedom purchased at so great a cost.
