Clark College is hosting a community mural kick-off event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 13 in the Penguin Union Building, Room 161, on Clark College’s main campus, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way. Mural designer Christian Barrios will discuss his experience with public art and the mural project, “Coming Together for Art and Peace.” Barrios is a local artist and Clark alum whose work you can see throughout Southwest Washington. Everyone is welcome to participate in painting the mural on Nov. 13 or join painting sessions from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 14 and 15. Questions?
