Northwest Harvest Listening Session: Hunger and Poverty

July 30, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

free

The nonprofit organization Northwest Harvest will host a listening session from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 30 at the Vancouver Community Library, 901 C St., Vancouver. The goal of the listening sessions is to inform your elected officials, community leaders, Northwest Harvest staff and other organizations, about why people are experiencing hunger and poverty in our state.

If you have experience with barriers to getting enough food for you and your family, accessing and using food stamps and other public benefit programs (TANF, WIC, Seniors Farmers Market Nutrition Program, etc.), or
using other kinds of support to get by, let your voice count in policy changes to shape Washington’s future.

Register to attend at docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdj0zRm0rGiEpa9VpHI94PMe7VmlpNQTOll6ABQHldpivdgSA/viewform. Attendees will be compensated $120 in cash or store gift cards. Compensation for child care is also available.
