Clark County Green Neighbors “Beneficial Bats” Presentation and Party

The Green Neighbors program is turning 10 with a “Beneficial Bats” birthday party from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 8 in the Columbia Room at Vancouver Community Library, 901 C Street, Vancouver. Guest speaker Brandon Burger with Backyard Bird Shop will chat about local bats, how bats support local ecosystems and what we can do to support them. Attendees can take a look at bat specimens and take photos with props. Prizes will be raffled off and light refreshments will be provided. Since Green Neighbors is all about waste reduction, guests who bring their own reusable cup will receive a second raffle ticket.
