The ninth annual Race for Warmth to support Operation Warm Heart will be held Jan. 29, beginning with the kids race at 8:30 a.m.
The event raises awareness for Operation Warm Heart and all proceeds go to support our neighbors in need. The timed 10k run and 5k walk/run start and finish at the Clark Public Utilities downtown location, 1200 Fort Vancouver Way. A free race for children ages 3-8 years old kicks-off the event, registration encouraged, but not required.
Registration is $30 and includes a long-sleeve performance shirt and race bag. Pre-registration is recommended and available online through midnight on Saturday, January 28 at www.raceforwarmth.com. Same-day registration begins at 7 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. and costs $40, note that a shirt and race bag will not be guaranteed.
