Celebrate the Attic Gallery‘s 50th anniversary from 5 to 8 p.m. First Friday, April 7. The gallery, which was a staple of the Portland art scene for decades, relocated to 421 N.E. Cedar St. in downtown Camas several years ago and has continued its mission to promote the best in contemporary art and artists. April’s exhibit is a group show from the gallery’s most popular and significant artists, including Earl Hamilton, Michael Ferguson, Janey Belozer, Anna Wiancko-Chasman, Anna Norris,Marcia Jeglum, Tommer Gonser, David Allen Dunlop,Monica Setziol-Phillips, Nancy Coffelt,Terri Axness, Sidonie Caron, Mike Smith and Tamara Adams. The show runs through April 29. The opening reception features live music with John Stowell, complimentary wine, chocolate and custom-made Attic Gallery cookies.
