Traditional Powwow at Clark College

The Native American Parent Association of Southwest Washington invites the community to its Annual Traditional Powwow at Clark College O’Connell Sports Center, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver, from noon to 10 p.m. May 20. Doors open to the public at noon. All drummers and dancers are welcome. The Grand Entry is at 1 p.m. followed by a dinner break at 5 p.m. and a performance by Kaleinani O Ke Kukui. The second Grand Entry is 6 p.m. followed by the retiring of the colors at 10 p.m. Sponsors and volunteers are greatly appreciated; email ndnedparentsassn@gmail.com to help. The powwow is an alcohol-free event and no smoking is allowed on the Clark College campus.
