Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop Series

WSU Extension Master Gardeners will host a fruit tree pruning workshop series on July 14 via Zoom and in person on July 15 at the 78th Street Heritage Farm at Northeast 78th Street and Northeast 19th Court in Hazel Dell.

Increase the beauty and productivity of your fruit trees with this informative, two-part, hands-on pruning class by locally renowned fruit expert, Monica Maggio. The Friday evening lecture, delivered via Zoom from 6 to 8 p.m., includes general pruning theory. On Saturday, choose from one of two in-field sessions for experiential instruction on specific techniques — either 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
