The public is invited to attend the family-friendly Camas-Washougal Fire Department Open House from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 23 at Station 42, 4321 N.W. Parker St., Camas. Events include live firefighting, car extrication and residential fire sprinkler demonstrations. Clark County Sheriffs will offer a K9 unit demonstration. Enjoy face painting, balloon animals and an art table for the kids. Over 25 local agencies and business will provide exhibits focused on health, safety and emergency preparedness. NW Natural will offer preparedness info and will provide free hot dogs and treats as part of its Get Ready Campaign.
