Ivy Removal at Marine Park

The City of Vancouver Water Resources Education Center will host a cleanup event removing ivy from Marine Park, located at , from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Nov. 18.
Volunteer activities may include cutting ivy off tree trunks, bending over to pull ivy free from the soil, and shoveling and spreading bark mulch.
Gloves, tools and snacks will be provided. This event will occur, rain or shine. Attendees are asked to dress for the weather; wear long pants and closed-toed shoes. Ivy pulling will take place primarily off the main walkway. The terrain will be uneven and slightly sloped.
Youth under 18 are required to bring a signed minor consent form.
