Battle Ground Parks Master Plans Open House

The City of Battle Ground is inviting community members to participate in an open house event on Dec. 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. to share their input on the parks site master plans for Remy, Gardner Oaks, and Durkee properties.  The open house will take place at Battle Ground City Hall, located at 109 S.W. 1st St. in Battle Ground, on the second floor.

In 2022, the City of Battle Ground adopted the updated comprehensive Parks, Recreation and Open Space (PROS) Plan to guide development of new recreational amenities, parks, and open space, as well as the renovation of existing facilities, through 2028.  Guided by the community’s vision set forth in the PROS Plan, the City has begun developing site specific master planning for Remy, Gardner Oaks, and Durkee properties to determine their potential as recreational amenities for the Battle Ground Community.

The public is invited to review the conceptual designs and provide their input to help determine the best uses and phased development of these future park properties.
