78th St. Heritage Farm Walking Tours

Take a free guided tour of the 78th Street Heritage Farm from 6 to 7:30 p.m. May 2 at 1919 NE 78th St. in the Hazel Dell area of Vancouver. Stroll the property with a knowledgeable docent and learn about the property’s history and its role in horticulture education, agricultural research, food security and community enrichment. Placed on the Washington Historic Register in 2012, the 78th Street Farm has a compelling story and tours are open to all ages. Tours involve prolonged standing and walking on uneven ground with some elevation change. Attendees should dress for the weather and bring water.
