Attracting Birds and Watershed Health

NatureScaping Wildlife Botanical Gardens will host a class “Attracting Birds and Watershed Health” presented by Antonya Pickard of the Backyard Habitat Certification Program. Class will be held at the CASEE Center, Building B, Room 205 from 10 a.m. to noon March 18.

The presentation will focus on the various way backyard birds provide multiple beneficial services, from pest-control to pollination. Attendees will learn about habitat areas, hedgerows, raingardens, and specific birds that may appear in local backyards and gardens.
