Bird Language Workshop

The Water Resources Education Center presents “Unraveling the Storylines of Nature Through Birds,” from 9:30 a.m. to noon May 18. The free workshop will introduce bird sound mapping and sit spots for bird observing. Attendees will learn to recognize calls, postures and behaviors of songbirds to deepen a connection to nature and become more aware of wildlife. Binoculars are available to borrow. Participants will walk 1.5 miles on both paved and uneven, muddy trails and will seated outside for 40 minutes, rain or shine. The program is suitable for ages 12 and older.
