The Clark County Toastmasters Club will host a communication and leadership skills development virtual open house event from noon to 1 p.m. Aug. 30.
The event will feature a presentation by a local motivational speaker, Jacki Elsom in an entertaining and informative presentation centered around how one can broaden their self-concepts.
Attendees are invited to participate in Table Topics(r) impromptu speaking to experience responding to random topics. This is the communication style often referred to as an elevator speech — how do you describe yourself and your experience in a one-to-two minute conversation? These are career and life-enhancing opportunities to make a difference.
Toastmasters is an experiential educational non-profit dedicate to empowering the members to be all that they can be.
