The Community Foundation for Southwest Washington will host its 2023 Annual Luncheon at the Hilton Vancouver from noon to 1:30 p.m. June 6.
The program features keynote speaker Majora Carter, an award-winning urban revitalization strategist, two-time TED speaker, visionary entrepreneur and author.
During the luncheon, Carter will expand on themes from her book “Reclaiming Your Community,” which explores how to develop sustainable communities through talent retention strategies and restorative economic approaches.
The event also includes a presentation of the 2023 SW Washington Philanthropy Awards, which recognize individuals and organizations who are deeply involved in local causes.
