“Does Local News Even Matter?”

The League of Women Voters of Clark County and Fort Vancouver Regional Library will host a community forum, “Does Local News Even Matter?” from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 16 in the Columbia Room at the Vancouver Community Library, 901 C St., Vancouver. The free event features representatives from The Columbian, Oregon Public Broadcasting, Clark County Today and The Reflector discussing the local news crisis and the future of local news in Clark County. Joining the news representatives will be Mayor Anne McEnerny-Ogle; Regina G. Lawrence of the University of Oregon’s Agora Journalism Center and Len Reed, Washington State University Vancouver faculty, and formerly with The Oregonian.
