Free outdoor showing of “Don’t Look Up”

Attend a free outdoor showing of the movie “Don’t Look Up” on an inflatable 30-foot screen at Unitarian Universalist Church, 4505 E. 18th St., Vancouver, from 6 to 10 p.m. Aug. 13. Attendees should bring their own blankets and chairs. On-site food trucks will offer meals for sale. Portable toilets large enough to accommodate wheelchairs will be available with handwashing stations. Rebecca Small, one of the authors of the Climate Action Plan, will discuss how to get engaged with city council on environmental issues. Guests can also visit resource booths with information on how to take more direct action.

The event is sponsored by Washington Environmental Council, Columbia River keeper, Sunrise SWWA, Vancouver Free Fridge, LULAC, Declare Emergency, Citizens Climate Lobby and Unitarian Universalist Church.
