HOPE Dementia Support is offering two showings of the award-winning documentary, “Wine, Women and Dementia,” a poignant look into the human side of dementia, at 6 p.m. Nov. 2 and 10 a.m. Nov. 4 at the Kiggins Theatre. This film follows former dementia family caregiver and filmmaker, Kitty Norton, as she travels across the country with her best friend, Beth Rigazio, to meet the dementia family caregivers who provided friendship and encouragement through their shared caregiver experiences. The caregivers, meeting in person for the first time, share intimate, humorous, heartfelt stories, told in interviews and backyard “wine chats.” Tickets are $9 if purchased before Oct. 15 or $10 after. Admission includes post film pizza from Bessolo Pizzeria. There will be a question-and-answer session following each screening with filmmaker, Kitty Norton, or cast member, Allyson Schrier.
