NatureScaping Grass Workshop

NatureScaping Wildlife Botanical Gardens will host a grass workshop: “Is the Grass Always Greener…?” at the CASEE Center, 11104 N.E. 149th St. in Brush Prairie, from 10 a.m. to noon June 17.

The class will be presented by Kathy Kidd Plamondon, Trail Ambassador with Washington State Fish and Wildlife Steigerwald Reserve, Clark Public Utilities Stream Stewards and Columbia Springs Volunteer. The class will discuss how lawns impact the local environment and how students can rework their lawns to be more environmentally friendly through conservation techniques and tips to protect pollinators.

Class will be held in Building B, Room 205 of the CASEE Center, registration is free for members or $15 per-person for non-members.
