Paul Anka performs at ilani

Paul Anka brings his “Greatest Hits His Way” show to ilani’s Cowlitz Ballroom at 7 p.m. Feb. 26.  Tickets for the show are $39 and $59 at ilaniresort.com.

With more than 500 songs to his credit and 100 million albums sold, Anka has the distinction of being the only artist in history to have a song on the Billboard charts during seven consecutive decades. Anka’s instantly recognizable hits include “Put Your Head on My Shoulder,” “Diana,” “My Way” and “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson” theme.  The successful singer’s long career started in 1957, when his song “Diana” sold 20 million records, followed by numerous other hits, including “Puppy Love,” “Lonely Boy” and “My Hometown,” among many others.
