Public Meeting on Habitat Conservation Areas

Clark County is hosting a public meeting at 6 p.m. on Oct. 27 to present the list of proposed code amendments to Clark County Code sections 40.440, Habitat Conservation and 40.450 Wetland Protection codes for the Critical Areas Ordinance update in accordance with the Growth Management Act, RCW 36.70A. Participants will be provided an overview of the proposed amendments and adoption process before sharing questions and comments.

The meeting will be held in a hybrid format with both in-person and virtual participation options. Attend in the sixth-floor Hearing Room of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., or join by phone or computer.

Following the Oct. 27 public meeting, the proposed amendments will be presented to the Clark County Planning Commission at a Nov. 3 work session at 5:30 p.m. and a Nov. 17 public hearing at 6:30 p.m.
